How to Get Photos Legally for Blogging

Polaroid 1000 Land Camera and Polatronic 1 Flash

The very first post I made as a blogger was How To Make Good eBay Product Photos way, way back in the day. One thing we know in ecommerce is the power of a good photo and as such, I love to use a visual photo when posting entries to the blog here. If you look, nearly every post on my blog has some form of visual to go along with the mundane type. Why? Well it is pretty simple realy, we are visual beings and sometimes a visual will break up the monatiny and add some astetics to your overall look.

But going to Google and just taking a photo and using that in your post can be DANGEROUS for a blogger. Photo do have rights of ownership and you could become liable if you use someones photo without permission.

Great way to get legal photos for bloggers

But there is a much better way to do by using Flickr photos for your blog posts. So in the video below I detail for you how to find the ones that are legal for you to copy, alter, and build on. As a bloggers you really need to think beyond the post and consider more than just the content. You also want posts that grab readers attention.

One element of a post is the design and adding images to posts will help the overall design of your blog. The images enhance posts in many ways including the option of giving your readers a visual point of interest grabbing that attention to draw the eye down to reading the first few lines.
