I have to admit, the latest story that was posted on AuctionBytes today about the upcoming announcements from eBay was SPOT ON!
eBay Sellers Should Brace for Monday’s Major Announcement

July 26, 2009eBay is making a major announcement on Monday, CEO John Donahoe told Wall Street. This the second of two announcements this year that eBay is making that affect sellers – the first announcement was made in April and those changes rolled out in June. While I may have asked in my previous Auctionbytes blog post about the good or bad nature of pre-announcement reporting, I now realize that my biggest issue was really in the wording of the previous AuctionBytes story on eBay changes.
But BRAVO! to the folks over there for today’s reporting contained what might have been missing from previous reports. The simple final paragraph really made the difference in saying "Keep in mind that nothing is official until eBay announces it on Monday…."
That one line/paragraph turns on what we like to call in the Web 2.0 world TRANSPARENCY. And for me? Transparency rules and it really frames a conversation. So I have learned MUCH from the multiple responses to my first article and I have also taken a good look at what I do here at ColderICE.com too.
While some "think" I am a report of news, I am NOT! AuctionBytes and TameBay are where I get my eBay news from. These guys are crack reporters and followers of the changes in US, UK and world-wide eBay news.
Me? I am just an insignificant fly on the wall. Recently I summed up my contribution simply as this…"I am like a John Madden, I got great seats to watch the game and I do color commentary with some educational blurbs now and then."
Yep, I am a glorified arm-chair QB and I like my seats, LMAO.

LOL! good for Auctionbytes! As usual, nothing ebay announces would surprise me.. the only thing that WOULD surprise me NOW, would be if Dennis the Menace was finally pink slipped. Without a golden parachute.
Sorry can’t view flash or movies..on this old clickety clack 10 yr old computer..LOL! my son is sleeping in, when visiting at my home, now, with the NEW HP fancy laptop I bought him sitting on the kitchen table…but I don’t know his password….what’s wrong with this picture??? LOL!
