Social Networking in the “Real World” – Rule #1
This week was really the first opportunity for me to get out and meet some of the great people I get to Tweet and meet on Twitter and Facebook. Man I met so many cool peeps at the ChannelAdvisor Catalyst event this week.
I got reels and reels of killer content and pages of notes to compile and share. BUT, the first thing I want to get out there is rule #1 for meeting people that you follow in social networks. So here it is and I hope you get it, cause it is really kind of important.
As you guys venture to different summits or conferences, just keep rule #1 in mind would you? Rule #1 is Don’t Be a Jerk!

I remember having a picture of a TREE like that in my house as a kid growing up. It gave me nightmares cuz it reminded me of the talking trees on Wizard of Oz.
