[...] Also, John, thanks for the info on setting up ecommerce for wordpress. I didn’t realize this either. Our actual selling domain, I had set up as a BANS site with our listings and will probably change it over to WP ecommerce – as I haven’t gotten any commissions through ebay partnership on new members, etc. anyway. Another great solution that wasn't mentioned above is the Market Theme template for WordPress.
Market is a premium WordPress theme that contains its own built-in shopping cart system. It also has a product manager administrative menu system for easily adding and editing products.
Market connects with your Paypal account, so when your customers are ready to complete their checkout, they're transferred to Paypal to complete payment information.
It's a great solution for someone who wants something easy to use, and is all-inclusive with no technical obstacles to try to overcome with integrating some sort of plugin. The theme contains it all.
There's a live demo you can play around with before you buy at:

Great post man, this is exactly what I need for this new computer store me and a partner are wanting to set up. We don't have that many products and I really like the WP backend so I think the wp-commerce thing is what were going to go with. Thanks!
One more thing, will using other plugin like the all in one seo pack or other things interfere with the wp-commerce plugin? I'm worried some wires will get crossed and it will mess up the orders!
Thanks,
James at free business cards
When it comes to plug ins, there are so many no one can say. I simply
turn em on and try. If conflict u simply shut it off. No harm no foul
